Marca, an unmissable appointment for modern retailers

Ever since its very first edition, Marca has established a close dialogue with exhibitors and in particular with the Strategic Committee (consisting of representatives frommajor retailers) to define the themes to focus on during the show.


For the 2017 event, it was decided to focus on the various segments of Private Label Premium lines, analysing the product range and verifying the present and future expectations of high-end consumers.  There will be special emphasis on a number of segments, including:

 

  • quality and local tradition (products of distinctive quality that symbolise the various aspects of Italy’s food and wine heritage)
     
  • the organic and sustainable segment (here too divided up by type and specific characteristics)
     
  • health food segment (including functional and natural products and products for consumers with specific food allergies)
     
  • fresh food and convenience products (fixed weight) capable of meeting the needs of quality, preparation and culinary innovation (such as the growing development of prepared products for ethnic cuisine or for other culinary traditions)
